Trumpet Behavioral Health Provides Leading ABA Therapy for Autism and Related Disorders for Families in the Metro Denver Area
With autism treatment centers in Denver, Colorado Spring and Ft. Collins, we provide services across the front range.
Trumpet Behavioral Health provides ABA therapy for Autism and other disorders with challenging behaviors. We provide consulting, education, and training for parents, educators, and healthcare professionals. Our highly skilled, passionate staff and Board Certified consultants work hard to provide the best possible behavior management outcomes.
Insurance Information
We accept most major insurance plans as well as CWA and CES waivers for ABA Therapy for Autism. We are not able to accept straight Medicaid at this time because Medicaid does not cover ABA services. However, we do offer payment plans for private pay for individuals that only have straight Medicaid.

Center-Based ABA Thereapy for Autism and Intervention Services

Our Staff
Tyra SellersRegional Director
Ph.D., BCBA-D
Dr. Tyra Sellers is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D) and is the Regional Director for Trumpet Behavioral Health CO/WY. Dr. Sellers received her Ph.D. in 2011 from Utah State University. She provides families with a range of behavioral assessment and treatment services for individuals with autism and other intellectual disabilities. Dr. Sellers provides on-going training, clinical support, and supervision to the PhD and MA level BCBA clinicians, as well as the direct 1:1 therapists.
Dr. Sellers works directly with the staff to oversee the assessment and treatment for all of the clients (including assessments, curriculum development, development and monitoring behavior management protocols, etc.). She participates in developing protocols for implementing research with the TBH research team. Her current research and clinical interests include applied behavior analysis, the behavioral treatment of autism and developmental disabilities, and verbal behavior. Dr. Sellers has published articles and book chapters in the area of response variability, verbal behavior, and choice. Dr. Sellers has also served as a guest reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis (JABA) and has presented at state and national conferences. She is a member of Association of Behavior Analysts –International (ABAI), the CA chapter (Cal-ABA), 4 Corners ABA, and the Colorado Coalition of Autism Professionals (COCAP).
Kaneen GeigerClinical Director
Ph.D, BCBA-D
Dr. Kaneen Geiger is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral (BCBA-D). She oversees clinical operations for Colorado. Dr. Geiger received her Ph.D. in 2012 from Auburn University. Dr. Geiger has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities across the lifespan since 2003. Her primary research and clinical interests include the incorporation of technology to enhance treatment with individuals with developmental disabilities, and evaluating treatments for autism to identify which are the most effective, efficient, and preferred by individuals with autism. Dr. Geiger has served as a guest reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis (JABA), Education and Treatment of Children, and Behavior Analysis in Practice. Dr. Geiger has also presented at state, regional, national, and international conferences and is a member of the Association of Behavior Analysis - International (ABAI).
Kendra PriestConsultant
M.A., BCBA
Kendra began working at Trumpet Behavioral Health in August 2012. Originally from Michigan, she has had the opportunity to provide behavioral analytic services in Michigan, California and Connecticut. She earned her Master’s in Behavioral Analysis from Western Michigan University in 2006 as well as her undergraduate degree in psychology in 2004. Kendra has worked with a variety of clients differing in age and needs in school settings as well as home settings. She is motivated by the success and joy ABA services bring to clients and their families.
Ramsey PortaConsultant
BCBA
Ramsey is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a content developer for the AutismPro training website. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University in 2009. From 2009 until 2012, Ramsey has worked at Auburn University providing supervision to students pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. During this time she guided and oversaw services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities from ages two to eighteen. Ramsey’s experience spans across a variety of settings including in-home, center, public school, and preschool programs. Her primary interest is developing systems for effectively training staff and parents to implement behavioral procedures.
Clinician
MS, BCBA
Annabel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Annabel holds a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Hunter College in New York City as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She has held teaching certifications for both general and special education. While in New York City, Annabel worked as an ABA therapist in home and school settings with practices such as YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities and The McCarton School. She has been serving children with autism spectrum disorders since 2004. Annabel joined the Trumpet team in 2013 and is excited to bring her creativity and expertise to the clients that she serves.

Jennifer Tilley
Consultant
B.A., Licensed Teacher SPED, BCaBA
Jennifer was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She has been providing services to children with special needs for 10 years. Jennifer is a licensed special education teacher. She is working on a Masters in Education at the University of Massachusetts. In January 2012 she became a Board Certified associate Behavior Analyst. Jennifer enjoys working with children of all ages, teaching language and reading acquisition.
