05-15-2013 - Compliance 101: How to get your child to do what you ask—the first time! When: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 6:30pm Where: Trumpet Academy; 1214 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324 *across the street from Krogers & Skyline Description: Stop and Think. Do you find yourself asking your child/student to do things multiple times before they comply? Are you feeling frustrated? Ever wonder why the child “listens” to certain people and not others (even if both people ask the child to do the same thing)? If so, this FREE training on compliance is for you! The training will give strategies to gaining the compliance of your child/student. In addition, an emphasis will be placed on the importance of reinforcement. 05-12-2013 - Jenn Aguero, MS, BCaBA is an Associate Consultant at Trumpet Behavioral Health located in Fairborn, OH since 2012. Ms. Aguero has been working with children with Autism since 2005. She received a Master’s in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University after completing a Bachelor’s in Special Education with a dual licensure in mild/moderate and moderate/intensive needs. She provides program supervision, behavior consulting, and parent trainings. She provides services in school, home and center based settings.

05-09-2013 - Hello everyone! Meet Brianna! Brianna is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who began working with children with autism in their home ABA programs in 2000 while completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Dayton. She went on to obtain her Master’s in Education with a focus on Early Intervention in 2003 from the University of Pittsburgh. Brianna completed the required coursework at the University of Pittsburgh and became a BCBA in 2012. She comes to Trumpet Behavioral Health from a program for children and adolescents with autism where she coordinated and supervised Social Skill Groups and the Extended School Year (ESY) Program. She has also spent time supervising the daily operations of a private licensed academic school for children and adolescents with autism. She has experience in program development, providing parent and staff training, and consultation and training with school districts. She is passionate about collaboration with families and team members. Brianna is dedicated to designing programming utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis that is meaningful and best supports children and adolescents with autism to meet their full potential.
